Getting Windows Installer packages right is really NOT hard to do. Maybe you shoudl quit using InstallShield (as that is hell on earth by itself) but you update and upgrade process really needs sorting out. BTW, that Cleanup Tool you refer to was pulled by Microsoft and they say to refer back to the vendor - so back at you Cyperlink...
